Who Is She?

“Hello, I’m Kyairra. Nice to meet you!”

I’m a Designer, Developer, and lifelong creative.

My journey with design started when I was a child. My grandmother was losing her vision due to illness, and I wanted to make her life easier. I would give her items with different textures so she could recognize them by touch, I would move furniture so she could walk around safely, and even tape white lines on the floor to help her see where to go. I built little systems and tools to help her stay independent, and I’ll never forget how these small acts brought her joy. That’s when I realized, design has the power to change lives.

Since then, design has become a part of me. I’ve worked on graphic design, physical products, digital products, and even created seasonal drink experiences at my family’s café. Everywhere I go, I find inspiration to design and build.

I’m currently studying Informatics & CS at IU, combining my love for creativity and technology. Along the way, I’ve collaborated with amazing companies like Snapchat 👻, where I created AR experiences that reached over 2.5 million views and interactions, projects that showed me how fun and impactful design can be on a global scale. My goal is simple: to keep designing meaningful solutions that connect people, solve problems, and spark joy.

When I am not building things, you can find me:

✧ Playing Video games. Currently in love with Genshin Impact 🎮

✧ Doing art and learning new design trends 🎨

✧ Spending time with my family and my parrots 🦜

My parrot’s names are Tikii and Lula.
